SIBU (March 24): A motorcyclist sustained facial injuries after he read-ended a car parked along Jalan Kampung Nangka here around 10.35am today.
The Territorial Army personnel member attached to Sri Rejang Camp is believed to have smashed his head into the hatchback car’s rear windscreen.
The impact of the accident also caused him to suffer a bleed in his left eye.
Blood from the eye injury could be seen streaming down the left side of his face.
Damage to the car included a smashed back windscreen.
Nearby residents said the car had been parked by the roadside since yesterday.
An ambulance later brought the army reservist to Sibu Hospital for treatment and further observation.
