Bystanders check the scene of the head-on collision at Jalan Riam Lama.
MIRI (March 24): A motorcyclist was injured in a head-on collision with a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle at Jalan Riam Lama here around 8am today.
According to an eyewitness, the motorcyclist was heading towards Jalan Miri-Bypass from Riam when the accident occurred.
He is believed to have somehow lost control of his machine and veered into the opposite lane.
This caused him to collide head-on with the oncoming 4WD.
The injured motorcyclist was later transported to Miri Hospital in an ambulance.
The 4WD driver did not suffer any physical injuries in the incident.
