KOTA KINABALU (Feb 6): Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor hopes that Federal Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh can help Sabah to improve youth and sports infrastructure facilities in Sabah.

He also hoped that she would also help upgrade available infrastructure.

Hajiji said this during Hannah’s courtesy call to his office at Menara Kinabalu on Monday.

This was Hannah’s first visit after her appointment to the position last year.

During the meeting, Hannah briefed Hajiji on the ministry’s programmes and activities that are being implemented in Sabah.

Meanwhile, Hajiji also received a courtesy call from Japan’s ambassador to Malaysia, Takahashi Katushiko, which was his second call to the chief minister.

He praised the State government’s effort and initiatives under Hajiji’s leadership to develop Sabah under the Sabah Maju Jaya Development Plan (SMJ).

Hajiji hopes that with the good relationship between Japan, Malaysia and Sabah, more investors from Japan will invest in Sabah, as well as tourists from the rising sun nation.
